Overview

The Operations (OPS) domain covers the orchestration of internal manufacturing and business processes within a facility. This includes the planning, scheduling, and execution of production runs, work orders, and internal material movements that do not involve external suppliers or customers.

Areas

Demand (DEM) — production requests: collating individual kanban demand signals into aggregate production tasks that orders service. Designed (New-distinct); see the Demand module.
Inventory Items (INV) — physical inventory custody: what a holding of goods is, and the fixed operation set that may change it. Placeholder: the area is declared, no use cases are written yet.

Further areas will emerge as specific manufacturing process types are modeled and the relevant personas and workflows are identified.
