Overview

The Application (APP) domain documents behaviors of the application shell — the persistent chrome that every persona encounters regardless of which functional area they are working in. These behaviors are not specific to any one entity type or business process; they form the structural frame within which all domain-specific interactions occur.

The domain covers two functional areas:

• Dashboard Behaviors — The landing page that provides an at-a-glance overview of inventory status, quick navigation to the most common actions, recent order activity, and an onboarding guide for new accounts.
• Navigation Behaviors — The sidebar and header navigation, global search, help access, and user notifications. These controls are visible on every page and provide the primary wayfinding structure for all personas.
