Accounting and Cost Behaviors

Use cases and scenarios for the OAM::ACT (Accounting and Cost) area of the Functional Domain Taxonomy. This area covers the behaviors that allow administrators to view and manage the tenant’s subscription plan and billing information within the application.

OAM::ACT::0001 — Subscription and Billing

Account administrators can review the current subscription plan, feature limits, billing cycle, payment method on file, and recent invoices from within the Company Settings page. These views are accessed via the Subscription and Billing tabs at /company-settings.

OAM::ACT::0001::0001.US — View Subscription Information

The user navigates to /company-settings and clicks the “Subscription” tab. The page displays the current subscription details: plan name (e.g., Freemium, Professional), feature limits associated with the plan (such as maximum number of items or users), billing cycle (monthly or annual), and any relevant usage metrics that count against those limits. Links or buttons for upgrading or changing the subscription plan may be visible. The data is retrieved from the tenant subscription record and reflects the current state of the account’s plan.

The user navigates to /company-settings and clicks the “Billing” tab. The page displays the payment method currently on file (masked card number or payment provider identifier), a list of recent invoices with dates and amounts, and the next scheduled billing date. Options to update the payment method or download individual invoices may be available. The data is retrieved from the billing service associated with the tenant.
