What to Do After Changing Location
Section titled “What to Do After Changing Location”If you change an item’s Location field, update the physical card and shelf label too:
- Move the card to the new storage location.
- Print a new label for the new location. See Printing in Arda.
- Remove or cover the old label at the previous location to avoid confusion.
- Minimum Quantity is the most common field to adjust during the first few weeks. Start conservative and reduce once you understand real consumption rates.
- Changes are immediate — there is no draft or staging step for item edits.
- If you are making bulk changes across many items, consider Item CSV Import with the update action type.
