Customer Acquisition Channels

This document summarizes how Arda gets new customers to the Arda Cloud paid features.

High-Level Overview

Straight Sale

In a sales call, or through other communication, Arda brings the customer to the
Arda pricing page

The customer selects a plan and is redirected to a signup page in HubSpot where they accept the T&C and
enter financial and contact information.

HubSpot uses the contact information to signup the user to cognito;

cognito creates the user in Arda Cloud with a paid tenant.

cognito sends a password reset link to the user.

Freemium

Through some communication, Arda brings the customer to the Arda Cloud page.
The user selects the signup option, provides id and password, accepts the T&C.

cognito creates the user in Arda Cloud with a personal tenant.

Eventually, the user might select to create a new paid tenant, or upgrade their personal tenant;
to do that, they navigate to their setting pane in Arda Cloud, choose a plan and enter financial information.

The steps in bold indicate the top priority.

In this alternative, there is a delay between the time the user signs up in HubSpot and the time the user gets access to
Arda Cloud.
There is chance that the user does not complete the process, and Arda loses a potential customer, or
the user gets frustrated because they do not see the reset password email in time and contacts support.
