Add Item from UPC Scan

Steps

  1. User navigates to a “Add Item by UPC” widget.
  2. In that widget, the user scans a public UPC, ISBN, UPN, etc… code.
  3. The system will identify candidates against existing databases
  4. If no items are found, the system will inform the user and offer to go to Manual Item Creation or to scan another code.
  5. If multiple items are found the system will allow the user to pick one or cancel.
  6. If one item is found, or after disambiguating from step 5, the system pre-populates a draft of the item with the information from the Product databases and present it to the user for further editing or Publish submission.
