Add Item with Manual Information Entry

Steps

  1. After login, Navigate to the Item Management Page
  2. Click on “Add Item”
  3. An Empty Form will show up.
  4. User fills in the form. The form show validations as the user enters informaton.
  5. User Submits as Draft, Publish or Cancel
  6. If Publish, the system validates information and saves the item. The new version becomes available for use. If validation fails goes back to Edit.
  7. If Draft the system saves without validation but does not make the version available to other users yet. Any other attempt to edit the item will start with the new Draft.
  8. If Cancel, the draft is discarded.
  9. The system confirms the result and offers the user to navigate back to the items list or to create another one manually or by scanning.
