Add Item with Manual Information Entry
Steps¶
- After login, Navigate to the Item Management Page
- Click on “Add Item”
- An Empty Form will show up.
- User fills in the form. The form show validations as the user enters informaton.
- User Submits as Draft, Publish or Cancel
- If Publish, the system validates information and saves the item. The new version becomes available for use. If validation fails goes back to Edit.
- If Draft the system saves without validation but does not make the version available to other users yet. Any other attempt to edit the item will start with the new Draft.
- If Cancel, the draft is discarded.
- The system confirms the result and offers the user to navigate back to the items list or to create another one manually or by scanning.
